Child Health Department
The Department of Child Health is a 97-bed capacity facility that delivers health care to children from day one of life to 12 years of age. It is headed by Dr. Yvonne Nana Ama Brew. The Department umbrellas seven sub units namely:
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Babies Unit
- Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Paediatric Oncology Unit
- Kangaroo Mother care unit (KMC)
- Speech and Language Therapy Unit
- Occupational Therapy Unit
The department also has the Pediatric Emergency Ward, the Pediatric Medical Ward and the Pediatric OPD
