The Management of Greater Accra Regional Hospital has engaged the leadership of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to advocate for a review of the hospital’s reimbursement rates under the NHIS.
Acting Medical Director, Dr. Leslie Issa Adam-Zakariah, highlighted the urgent need for tariff adjustments to reflect the hospital’s specialist and tertiary-level services. He also appealed for dialysis support to enhance kidney care services.
NHIA leadership acknowledged the challenges and assured management of collaborative steps toward finding a sustainable solution.
