Unique Insurance Company Limited has donated assorted items and a cheque of GHï¿ 20,000 to the Pediatric Department of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Ridge. The gesture is part of its social support to healthcare in the country.
The items comprised 10 boxes of Vitamilk, 40 boxes of biscuits, and 10 boxes of vita milk champ. Presenting the items, Mr Victor Obeng-Adiyah, The Managing Director of Unique Insurance Company Limited stated that the gesture was to support children whose parents are unable to cater for their treatment bills. He added that the gesture was as a result of the level of professionalism exhibited by the health workers of the Ridge hospital.
The head of Nursing and Midwifery at GARH, ( Madam Rebecca Agyare) who received the items on behalf of management lauded the company for the significant benevolence and gave the assurance that the hospital was committed to delivering quality healthcare service. Madam Agyare also assured the company that the money and items donated would be used for the purpose of which it was delivered The Head of the Pediatric Department, Dr Yvonne Brew, expressed her profound gratitude to the company for their gesture after which she took the team on a brief tour around the Pediatric wards.
